this is a persuasive speech
Any informative speech should be delivered accurately and with enthusiasm. This presentation on the other hand lacked any assertive nature to hold the audiences attention. The speaker conveys through body language and tone an almost disinterested attitude seeming discombobulated and unpracticed in front of his audience. That said the facts chosen are insightful and attention grabbing which is crucial to capturing and engaging verbally as well as mentally with the audience.

I think it is a great topic, and one that I’m very passionate about, but the flow of the whole speech is a little jerky. Also I don’t understand why you opened with little old man when you were talking about animal testing. I know the direction you wanted to head with it, but I don’t think that was made clear. After I heard little old man, my first thought was that this was going to be about nursing homes or hospice of some sort. All in all a good speech though, and I enjoyed your sarcasm.

Wtf your hand signs suck, you dont even look interested in your topic, although i think its a great topic. we can’t use anything to read from. i like the topic but he’s getting the audience bored cause he doesn’t seem interested in it. but he did pretty good, but i guess cause you can have infinite glances at your speech itself or whatever you have their with you.

informative speeches can actually be persuasive, but this is informative because he doesn’t tell everyone they need to stop animal testing. i really thought this was a great speech! i’m critiquing it for my public speaking class.
Yeah this is a persuasive speech. Your lucky your teacher lets you read much of your speech. I only get 5 glances.
